Marina Spindler, Senior Advisor 

Marina Spindler was named strategic advisor to the Group of Fifty (G50) in March of 2016, after having served as its CEO for over a decade. Under her leadership, the G50 identified and recruited Latin America’s most distinguished philanthropists and CEOs, tripled the participation of female executives and launched the Millennium Leaders (ML50) for entrepreneurs under 40 years of age.  Responsible for strategy and direction of the business network, Marina was instrumental in shaping the organization’s reputation as a sought-after gathering for business owners and CEOs, and establishing partnerships with major institutions including the World Economic Forum, the Carlyle Group, Goldman Sachs, the Inter-American Development Bank, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, the Metropolitan Museum, and Sotheby’s, among others. After stepping down from her position as CEO, Marina founded LaB (Latam Board LLC) to serve as a brand strategist and chief community officer for global ventures and cross-sector initiatives. Bilingual and multicultural, Marina holds a master’s degree in public administration from New York University where she specialized in business development, fundraising and social media strategies. Additionally, she is a consultant for the Youth Orchestra of the Americas (YOA).
