Carlo Solari Donaggio is chairman of Falabella S.A.C.I, a retailing group that operates department stores, home improvement stores, supermarkets, shopping centers and financial services in Latin America. He is currently a board member of Falabella Retail, Falabella Financiero, Sodimac, Tottus and Mall Plaza. Previously, he was the managing director of Megeve Investments, a family firm which invests directly in private equity and participates in financial operations throughout Latin America, with a multi-sector focus including real estate, energy, water, mining, etc. Carlo is a board member and one of the founders of Aptus, a non-profit organization that helps improve educational opportunities for low income students. He is an executive board member of Centro de Estudios Públicos (CEP), a leading Chilean think-tank and serves as an advisory board member for Wharton in Latin America. Carlo graduated magna cum laude from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile with a degree in civil engineering. He received his MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
